Founded in 1992, GEMCO Medical has more than 200 years of combined healthcare experience within our senior management. This allows us to share invaluable industry insight and product knowledge with you.

GEMCO Medical was one of the pioneers in the diabetes supply industry. We were the first to partner with a diabetes manufacturer to design a Medicare and Medicaid diabetes program geared to the Medicare provider market. These programs maximize your profits on diabetes products that are billed to Medicare and Medicaid.

Today, GEMCO Medical’s Medicare, Medicaid and Medical Benefit diabetes program has expanded to include all major diabetes manufacturers. GEMCO Medical is an authorized distributor for: Abbott Diabetes Care, Animas Corporation®, Arkray USA, Bayer Healthcare, BD, Cara, Disetronic, Drive, GemCare™, LifeScan, Medical Resources Limited, Medtronic, Nipro, Roche Diagnostics, Sanvita, Smiths Medical, Smith & Nephew, Specialty Medical, Steris, Ultimed™, and more.

In 2003, GEMCO Medical expanded its business to include durable medical equipment, including our own GemCare™ line.
GemCare™ has a wide variety of ambulatory, bathroom safety, patient room, respiratory, wheelchairs, power mobility, and a full line of bariatric products.
